This course introduces MD students to the principles of biostatistics and research methods. The aim of this course is to provide students with the essential knowledge and skills to design, implement, interpret and report findings in medical research, and to develop their ability to critically appraise medical literature in order to make evidence-based decisions in their practice.

Course Credit: 8 credit points (54 hrs. Lectures, 14 hrs. Lab., and 132 hrs. Self-learning)
